Arrived in Singapore, transferred to our hotel by 7pm local time and straight out as the New Year drone light show celebrating The Year of the Dragon started at 8pm at the Marina and as it was the first since Covid we wanted to see it.
After the impressive show we battled our way through the crowds and ended up walking to Raffles to get our ‘Singapore Sling’ fix.
Didn’t realize the heavens had opened up whilst we were enjoying our ‘slings’ so the bar girl advised us to get the tube back to the hotel. 2 stops and only 6p.

The slings were S$39 so around £23. It was lovely in there you got to throw the monkey nut shells all over the floor!
Expensive drinks 😵💫 .. fantastic light show tho!!
